Caroline and Christian

Caroline Wylie-Paetsch and Christian Paetsch have been teaching private music lessons in eastern Centennial/southern Aurora for over thirty years. They began teaching immediately after graduation from the University of Northern Colorado in 1989.

Christian graduated as a triple performance major in violin, viola, and French horn. He completed his master's degree in music education, and studied conducting under Dr. Ken Singleton and David Lockington. He has been a guest conductor for the Cheyenne Symphony, Greeley Philharmonic, and Continental League Orchestra. He performed in the Colorado Springs Orchestra for six years. Christian has taught orchestra at Rangeview High School, Hinkley High School, Cherry Creek High School, and Smoky Hill High School.

Caroline attended Julliard Pre-College for five years, studying cello with Lorne Munro, principal cellist for both the Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. The University of Colorado Boulder awarded Caroline the Quartet Scholarship under the tutelage of the Takacs Quartet. Caroline received a cello performance degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She was the youngest member of the original Denver Young Artists Orchestra under Carl Topolow and David Lockington. Caroline also performed with the Denver Symphony for one season.
