Camp will be held at the Ponderosa Retreat and Conference Center Tuesday, May 28 - Friday, May 31, 2024.
The cost of camp is approximately $250 per student. Please make checks payable to Western Academy of Music, labeled with student's name. Cash payments are accepted - please label envelope! Venmo and Zelle will not be accepted. Payments are due by April 4, 2024.
Arrival: May 28 at 3:30PM. Drop off at Pine Lodge, across from the Chapel on your left as you drive in.
Pick Up: May 31 at 2:30PM at Pine Lodge for girls, Tumbleweed for boys
For adult students - You are welcome to come! Please text Caroline or Christian for more information. The cost is approximately $100, checks payable to WAM.
What to Bring:
Music, Instrument, & Rosin
Bedding: Sleeping bag or sheets, blankets, pillow
Towels and wash rags, etc, toiletries
Clothes: Comfortable clothes, enough for 4 days. Be prepared for hot, cold and/or rainy days.
***bring extra pants, shoes, and socks in case you get wet in the rain***
COAT (nights are cold!!!!)
Raincoat and boots (it looks like it might be a wet year)
Food: BRING SNACKS AND DRINKS!!! Most of us drag a cooler. There are a couple of refrigerators available in the 2 dorms for us to use, but a cooler is helpful.
Some of you have dietary needs with allergies, vegans, gluten free, etc. Some of you just like your stuff. BRING ANYTHING YOU WANT TOO! The kids share
snacks, so send a share item if you want to. You can just schlepp it home if the kids don't eat it.
Other: Money in case you want to buy ice cream and snacks at the "Snack Shack" and “Coffee Bar”
Phone, phone chargers, tablets
Games such as soccer ball, frisbee, board games, cards, etc.
Medicine and Epi Pens! Please make sure to fill out medical form.
If your child can drive and are allowed to leave Ponderosa Camp to have a meal in Monument, please fill out this form. Parents - you must be the one to give this form to the teachers!
